What Degree Plan Should I Follow?
2003 Degree Plan
- Students who changed their major or were admitted as pre-business before fall of 2005 should be following the 2003 degree plan.
- Students following the 2003 degree plan must have either a foreign language or International Studies minor.
- 123 credit hours are needed for graduation.
- Students who changed their major or were admitted as pre-business before fall of 2007 should be following the 2005 degree plan.
- Students following the 2005 degree plan are not required to have a minor.
- This plan includes a global studies sequence which includes INTB 3350, INTB 3351, INTB 3352, INTB 3353, and GENB 4350.
- Students must complete the non-credit online component of the Bauer Experience and the Business Writing Evaluation (BWE) through WebCT Vista.
- 123 credit hours are needed for graduation.
- Students who change their major during the June 2007 filing period, or are admitted as pre-business in fall 2007 must follow the 2007 degree plan.
- Students following the NEW degree plan are not required to have a minor.
- This plan includes the global studies sequence.
- Students must complete the non-credit online component of the Bauer Experience and BWE.
- Students are required to take GENB 2301.
- GENB 4350 will meet the new writing in the discipline CORE requirement.
- DISC 2373 is now changed to MIS 3300, it is the same class and still needed before filing a degree plan.
- 123 credit hours are needed for graduation.
**NOTE** Students may request to follow a newer degree plan than the current plan they are following. For example; if on the 2003 plan, you may request to follow the 2005 plan by refiling your degree plan online. However, students need permission to follow an older degree plan. For example; if on the 2005 plan, you need to fill out a general petition to follow the 2003 plan.
