CANADA AMBASSADOR: Maria Rotundo  (Rotundo@Rotman.Utoronto.Ca)

 

 

Maria Rotundo is the David Y. Timbrell associate professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. She received her PhD in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota.

 

Her research interests include different facets of individual level job performance as they relate to managerial values, leadership, performance over time, and team effectiveness. Her research on these and other topics has been published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Leadership Quarterly, International Journal of Human Resource Management, and the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology. She served on the editorial board of the Academy of Management Review.

 

She has been an active member of the Academy of Management. In addition to being the chair and discussant of symposia, she has served as the chair of an awards committee, presenter in the doctoral consortia, reviewer on the program committee, and member of five other AOM committees.

 

When Maria is not working she enjoys the outdoors via tennis, running, rollerblading, skiing, or a good bike ride, although the northern climate does not always cooperate.
