MOROCCO AMBASSADOR: Khadija Al Arkoubi  (kalarkoubi@yahoo.com)

 

 

Khadija Al Arkoubi is at present an assistant professor of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior at Zayed University, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

 

She got her PhD in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management (HRM) in 2008 from New Mexico State University, USA. She also holds a Master’s of Science in HRM from the University of Manchester, UK and a Bachelor degree in Information Sciences from the School of Information Sciences in Rabat, Morocco.

 

Khadija’s research is focused on International HRM, HRD (Human Resource Development) and leadership. She also devotes a particular interest to civil service reforms in her country (Morocco).

 

Khadija worked as a lecturer and coordinator of the HRD program at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco from 2002 to 2004. Prior to pursuing an academic career, she spent many years working for the Ministry of Public Works in Morocco in the department of Human Resources Management. She was in charge of studies pertaining to different practices of HRM and organization development.

 

 Khadija likes cross-cultural communication and enjoys being in diverse environments.
