OMAN AMBASSADOR: Unnikammu Moideenkutty

Dr. Unnikammu Moideenkutty is Assistant
Professor and the Acting HOD of the Department of Management, College of
Commerce & Economics, Sultan
Qaboos University. He has a PhD in Business Administration
from The Fox School of Business and Management, Temple
University, Philadelphia
and a Master’s Degree in Organization Development from Bowling Green State University, Ohio.
In addition, he has a Master’s Degree in Personnel Management
and Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai. Before becoming an academic Dr.
Moideenkutty was managing a rubber, coffee and cardamom plantation company in
Kerala, India for thirteen years. While doing his PhD in Temple,
Dr. Moideenkutty worked as a visiting instructor at The Haub School of
Business, St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia.
Dr. Moideenkutty has worked as
a consultant and conducted training programs in various organizations in India, USA
and Oman. In Oman
he has worked with PDO, PEIE, Occidental, Omantel and Institute of Health
Sciences.
His research interests include Organizational Citizenship Behavior,
Social Exchange Processes in Organizations, Perceptions of Organizational
Politics and Strategic Human Resource Management. His research papers have been published in
international journals like Applied Psychology: An International Review,
International Journal of Commerce and Management, and Asian Journal of
Management Cases.
Dr. Moideenkutty lives in Muscat,
Oman with his
wife Asha and two daughters Fathima and Nafisa. His son Moideen is doing his undergraduate
study in Information Technology at National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, India.
