PAKISTAN AMBASSADOR: Usman Raja  (usmanraja@gmail.com)

 

Usman Raja is an Associate Professor of Management in the Faculty of Management Sciences at the International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan. His research focuses on  personality, psychological contracts, stress, and burnout. His work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal.

 

In 1990 Usman received a BSc (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan.  In 1997 he earned an MBA from the International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan.  He graduated at the top of his MBA class. Usman was a recipient of the Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship / Fellowship for doctoral studies.  In 2004 he earned a doctorate in Management from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. Usman worked for seven years as a professional engineer.  His has over eight years of university experience. 

 

He has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses at universities in Pakistan and Canada. Over the last couple of years Usman has also run a consulting business providing training for corporate clients in Pakistan.
