Cunha is Associate Professor of Human Resource Management and
Organizational Behavior at the She has
an undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology, from ISPA
( She is a member of the AoM and Vice President of the Iberoamerican Academy of Management (an affiliate of the AoM). She is the author of several books and book chapters and published in several academic journals: Leadership, Thunderbird International Business Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management, International Business Review, International Studies of Management and Organization, Management Research, Journal of Applied Management Studies, Journal of Managerial Psychology and Stress Medicine. She is a member of the Editorial Boards of Cross Cultural Management, Management Research, Comportamento Organizacional e Gestão, Tekhne, and Portuguese Journal of Management Studies. As of January 2009, she will be the Editor of Management Research, the official journal of the Iberoamerican Academy of Management. Rita’s research interests focus mainly on the impact of HRM to organizational performance, as well as change management, namely in the sequence of privatization processes. She is also doing some research on positive organizations, and time. At NOVA, Rita is currently the Academic Director of the CEMS Master in International Management. |
