Tenure-Track Faculty Recruiting

The C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston seeks qualified applicants for one tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Finance, starting in the fall of 2020. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in finance or economics (or A.B.D.) and exhibit promise for high-quality research. The College also has plans to consider several qualified applicants for additional tenure-track positions across each of the five departments at different levels and ranks, whose research relates to strategic areas of focus of each department, for a total of ten faculty positions across the College. Finance applicants with interests in Fintech, Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Healthcare may be considered for those positions (click HERE for more information). Interviews will be conducted at the American Finance Association meetings in San Diego in January 2020. We will NOT be interviewing at the FMA Meetings.
