Best Practices and Resources for Bauer Students and Faculty
Resources for Students
There are things you can do to improve your Off-Campus Internet!
Please visit UH Infotech to learn what to do if you don't have internet at home of if you have poor performance.
UH Infotech also has information about offers from major carriers and the Keep Americans Connected Program.
Your professors use Blackboard to share course content and to communicate with you. Be mindful of meeting times, assignment deadlines, and exam dates. Login to your Blackboard courses regularly to check for updates:
- Go to https://elearning.uh.edu/ to access your Blackboard courses and use your Cougarnet ID. You can also log in at AccessUH on any computer to access Blackboard and other UH systems with a single log in.
- It is best to use your computer to access Blackboard; only occasionally use your smart device. Use Firefox or Chrome browsers. Do not use Apple-Safari or MS-Edge or MS-Explorer.
- Update your browser: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox.
- Download the Blackboard App (Android, Apple Devices) on your smartphone or tablet.
