Bio

Kai Gu joined the accounting PhD program at UH in 2017. Kai likes to draw research ideas from daily life; his research focuses on individuals' decision making process from both a rational perspective and an emotional perspective, and features the use of behavioral theories to explain accounting/economic phenomenon with various methodologies. Kai holds a BBA degree in Accounting and Actuarial Science and a MAcc degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master of Science in Business degree from the University of Kansas.
