Michael Yampuler


Professor Yampuler received his Ph.D. from Harvard University, and since then has been serving as a full time faculty member at the University of Houston. Professor Yampuler has taught courses in managerial and financial accounting in the principles, intermediate, and graduate levels. Professor Yampuler has self-developed and taught a graduate level course on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Previous to his position at UH, professor Yampuler has taught at the Harvard University Extension School and Tel Aviv University, and worked for 6 years as an accountant and economist in a governmental budget office. Professor Yampuler is a U.S. Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and has earned a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in Israel (currently inactive).
