Steve Crawford


Steve Crawford is an assistant professor of Accounting at the C. T. Bauer College of Business. He joined Bauer College in 2014 and teaches Financial Statement Analysis in the MSACCY and MBA programs. Since arriving at Bauer, Steve has won three teaching awards. Steve was an assistant professor of accounting at Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business before joining Bauer.

Steve has research interests in financial analysts, financial markets, disclosure, and compensation. His research papers have been published in leading accounting and finance journals.

Steve earned his MBA and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business in 2007. He received his BA and M.Acc. from Brigham Young University in 2002.
