Tiffany Woods officially became a UH Cougar in 2004 when she began studying at UH. As a student at UH, Tiffany completed her bachelor's in psychology and master's in counseling. In 2009, Tiffany accepted a position in academic advising for the Department of Accountancy & Taxation, where she currently advises students in the Professional Program in Accountancy (PPA) and oversees advising for undergraduate students majoring in accounting. Tiffany's research interests include student persistence and success as well as the contributing role of academic advising. She is a member of NACADA (National Academic Advising Association) and TEXAAN (Texas Academic Advising Network). In 2012, Tiffany received The George Magner Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Academic Advising and in 2013, the Outstanding Staff Award from the Department of Accountancy & Taxation as well as the Bauer College of Business Staff Excellence Award. In 2018 and 2021, she was honored to receive the Staff Excellence Award through the Department of Accountancy & Taxation. Tiffany enjoys exercising, reading, studying Scripture, and spending time with her husband, Jason, and their three children, Kayla, Caden, and Preston.
