The Business Minor: A Major Asset

A business minor in the Bauer College of Business could be a major asset – Check out the possibilities!

Minors in specific business areas

All business minors, except for the Business Foundations minor (which requires a 2.0 or higher GPA at UH) and the Sales minor (which requires an interview selection process for students taking MARK 3337), require the same grade point average requirement as students changing their major to pre-business at the time of filing for a minor (a 3.0 or above cumulative grade point average, including any attempted transfer courses; students with more than 60 semester hours of college credit must meet the same criteria, but the calculation of cumulative grade point average is based on the last 60 hours, and if the 60th hour occurs in the middle of a term, all grades for that term are included in the calculation).

Effective Fall 2018 the Business Foundations Minor is being discontinued. In order to have a smooth transition for current students, any students currently pursuing courses toward the Business Foundation Minor may still officially file for the minor during the fall 2018 semester.
